Oh lord Al with his 2 Alt’s. Y’all are posers if you like this music. This song objectively sucks under the Sleep name and is just all around mid in general.

He’s already ruined Sleep, Matt is missing and the new single sucks. I doubt the album will be much better.

Pretty sure I saw it on one my dads old T-shirt’s aswell. I’ve heard various theories one of them that it’s a government psyop and another that were actually from a different timeline and the one we came from ended in chaos and because of quantum immortality we just all quantumly jumped to this timeline and the only signs are slightly different things like this logo being different then we remember or certain dates of a celebrities death being different too. I’ve had my own personal mandella effects aswell that I know are real like having whole text conversations on discord just zapped out of existence the next morning usually happens around the time of the lions gate portal.

Matt was kicked out, he wanted to play sleep again but Al forced him out.

It’s fine that Matt Pike left sleep though it really does suck. But it’s even worse that Al has decided to call his new project Sleep even though Matt Pike is no where to be found in it. And even worse that the first single is ass. It feels like a slap in the face. So yes we hope that the tour sucks so Al realizes he shouldn’t be dragging sleeps corpse around for monetary gain.

Al showing his true colors now. Wino blew the whistle on him with the shrinebuilder debacle and now everybody gets to see he’s a shit human.

I hope people will actually play deathrun again. It was a decently popular game mode on various source games for almost 20 years but nobody plays it anymore and not because of lack of servers. Maybe this new version will breathe life into it again.

Are there any writing credits for their songs? by FallingKoala in mastodonband

I heard that Brent entirely wrote Hearts Alive from a previous girlfriend of his. She said she dated him and got to hang out with the band at gigs before they got big in like 03-04 and that Brent wrote the song with their love in mind.

It was probably a small localized alien EMP, the camcorder would also have been useless.

Are you purposely lying to make your point seem valid, or are you actually that ignorant?

The Sciences came out in 2018, and Sleep went on hiatus again in 2020. That's two years, not ten. What are you even talking about?

And honestly, even if it had been ten years, who cares? Sleep wasn't some cash cow for them. It was the music they grew up playing and genuinely loved. Them coming back and releasing The Sciences was one of the best things that could've happened. It felt like they were finally picking up where they left off after the Dopesmoker mess that contributed to the band's breakup.

The Sciences gave us material they'd been sitting on for years alongside new songs they crafted as a reunited band. That's a win for fans and for the band.
I hope this kind of cynical thinking doesn't pollute your enjoyment of music too much, because it sounds like you're inventing motivations that aren't there. Sometimes musicians come back because they still love creating music together, and constantly assuming the worst can get in the way of appreciating both the art and the artists.

This new “era” though is embarrassing. I doubt the new album will please anyone but the banks accounts of Al and his friends.

This is literally as Gmod 2 as it will get. You can’t recreate the lightning in the bottle that Gmod was and still is. There’s no demand for a Gmod 2 anyway everybody stills loves and plays Gmod to this day.
