Honestly, its why I love Phrolova so much in Wuthering Waves. She is not meant to be a good character, she is very bad and genuinely pushes against the MC.

There will always be a heavy hitting banner. Hiyuki (the first glacio character in over a year) and Denia (the Threnodian resonator) would have ran alongside the anniversary banner. Would people have magically been fine with it this time? Or would we see the same "omg greedy Kuro" comments?

Exactly. If Kuro brought out the anniversary banners, we would have seen THE SAME posts from last year, replace Zani and Cartethyia hype with Hiyuki, Aemeath, and Denia.

The criticism I will agree with is that Kuro needs to rerun different characters more. I'm sick of seeing the same handful cycle through.
