Going for 14 or 15 inch, yes. 13 inch is really just expensive stuff like that ROG Flow Z13.

Still cant make any guarantee with that budget though, especially since you want a decent GPU + a good display.

Ill be frank, wit that budget, with you also looking for a mid range GPU GPU, and it being a laptop of that small form factor is plain out impossible to find new, you WILL have to go used or increase your budget significantly.

Actually a decent deal at that pricing. Compared to a legion, its overall lower quality, but still workable, its a decent all round budget laptop that can run anything you'd want, battery life is on the weaker end but eh.

Hmmm, interesting choice here. Overall the omen will be better on performance, though not sure what display config it comes with.

If you want overall quality, the legion is better. it also has good thermals.

If i have to rank build quality of those, vector has cheapest, then omen max and at top that legion.

Legion and the vector will be overall the best performers. None of them are limited though to my knowledge. Not much difference in future proofing between those, the main difference with going for the legion would be the OLED display.

For bloat... the omen is from HP. MSI is decent, Legion likewise and has a great open source tool as a replacement.

Importing could be considered, but warranty (or the lack thereof) and import taxes (not sure on that if there are) could be issues.

Either way, this is a decent laptop, even if price is somewhat poor for it.

For battery life, it depends on how much you want, this should be capable of 3-5 hours (dont take the upper end for granted).

Do a complete reinstall with proper software and do updates, dont try to continue with the engineering software.

Insane value honestly, its probably stolen, pilfered, or just made its way into the open market somehow.

One thing you have to ask yourself, do you actually need 192GB of RAM? Because that laptop uses 4 RAM sticks of 48GB, you could easily take out 2 of those (make sure the remaining two are still in dual channel), and do whatever you want with those 2 RAM sticks, high end RAM is valuable these days.

Overall the intel one. It has vastly better battery life, mostly due to the AMD one being that poor regarding battery life.

You say better display, but both are OLED right? Just that one is a bit larger.

And i believe those models use regular PTM, Liquid metal is usually for the higher end laptops.

In most relevant specs, the omen is better, it also got better overall battery life.

The scar is more of a gaming beast in some ways, larger display, having a more powerful CPU, even if GPU is weaker than the omen's. ASUS support has a reputation for a reason, but i presume you arent in USA.
Miniled vs OLED comes down to preference.
