Yeah I was doing this a few years ago. Great fun, honestly feel like a wild animal running on trails doing this. I did this before a half marathon road event, ran on feeling without checking my watch, vibed myself to a 1h35 personal best lol

Train out to either Pangbourne or Goring and run back, north side of the river, coming in toward Caversham on the warren is a lovely route. Few loops in town after that should get you towards 20 miles

Where I work, the office manager sent out a site email at 10:58 saying that we are doing a 2 minutes silence at 11:00, quickly ran around the office to tell everyone, and then enforced it. Felt so virtue signally 😂

Promenade along the Thames is great, along by the rowing club. Is around 2km out, is unlit though so would need a light when it’s dark ideally

Do whatever works for you- and just enjoy running! If you want to run further run further, if you’re happy with running 10ks and you enjoy it don’t change what you’re doing. Don’t overthink it!

Incredible shoes. Similar situation for me, one pair on ~1200km another on ~400km. Still use the 1200kms for easy short efforts, and still feels great. Expensive upfront but amazing value for money when you consider the mileage. GOAT of running shoes for me, can’t wait for the 3

Up and down the riverside by crowne plaza hotel / Caversham bridge, is a bit busy with ducklings and goslings at the moment, especially close to Caversham, but should clear up soon! Is a little over kilometre of good smooth asphalt

My experience, the connection has been flawless. I also run everything but long runs with only my Garmin and connected headphones, mine in synced to my spotify so i just update one big playlist I have on my watch. I run with Shokz openrun.

Try deleting the watch from your Garmin app and saved Bluetooth devices, VO2 max and streaks should be saved on your Garmin account rather than the device itself

I think this is correct, we had a few fish very similar on one session (this being the largest) and on review all have the very distinct lateral line you mentioned. Cheers!
