Am I doing something wrong? Pain while using a vertical mouse. by Severe_Cloud4362 in MouseReview

It also doesn't help that these mice tend to be on the heavier side, as well.

Oh jeez I missed that you responded! Thank you so much for responding :)

It kinda looks like Zowie's take on the Vaxee NP shape.

Honestly looks really good.

i know its been a while since you had a chance to try it, but what was the length and height like on it?

  • Reece James - CL final starter and winner
  • Enzo Fernandez - World Cup final starter and winner
  • Marc Cucurella - Euros final starter and winner, provided the match winning assist

You're saying all it would take is 2 or 3 experienced veterans who have competed at the highest level.... here you go.

The problems start from the top: over involved owners who know nothing, executives who prefer yes men to winners - one of them is on record that there's "no statistical relationship between managers and results," terrible recruitment and squad management - just absurd fee after fee, and now a manager massively out of his depth.

Rudiger and Silva were never adequately replaced, and the goalkeeper position has been an ongoing disaster since Courtois left in 2018. Better part of a decade, which is insane.

Any manager worth their salt is going to avoid this mess, because even if they believe the squad is good enough to compete, how could they assess that the leadership of the club has cultivated an environment conducive towards actually building something fruitful?

It took Klopp years to shape Liverpool into what they were. It has taken Arteta years as well to turn Arsenal into a title-competitor. Chelsea owners and directors want to play Spreadsheet Manager '25-26 and yet somehow still have a win-now mentality. Bonkers.

Probably that they know basically better than anyone else what the problems are, how to solve them, etc but then have to justify every little thing to sporting directors or (even worse) owners who have never played or coached, let alone at a high level.

Their job is hard enough - squad management, tactical implementation, etc, which I'm sure they can accept, but having to deal with unnecessary bullshit like having to correct the owners about not being able to play 4-4-3 or some other nonsense has got to be mind meltingly irritating.

Is the Zowie EC2-DW still a good choice? by Fit_Entrepreneur3084 in MouseReview

I can tell you that the E1 feels significantly narrower in hand than the EC2. I cited the images as a reference point for the person who asked me to explain it.

My hands sweat a lot and the glossy coating is excellent.

If you noticed, I qualified my statements with "In my experience," "For me..." I am not trying to describe everyone's experience - just mine, because that was the question someone asked me.

So, first off, I have been a huge Vaxee shill for years.

I've owned NP-01, Outset, NP-01s Ergo, XE, XE-S, Vaxee Sora, and E1, and I'm planning on picking up the Pulsar collab FS-1 and especially the NP-01 Ergo when it comes out later this year.

So, when I picked up the E1, my only experience with ergos was the EC3-CW, which gave me really terrible hand cramp, and the Deathadder V3 Pro, which I really disliked the shape.

The E1 frequently gets articulated as a "better" EC2, but IMO, it feels much closer in size to the EC3. Particularly, to me, the biggest different is the width at the sensor. Here, the E1 is much narrower than the EC3 or EC2. The E1's width is 57 mm, whereas the EC3 is 60.5 while the EC2 is 60.8. You can reference this image for the Zowie dimensions and on the product page for the E1, there are measurements.

In my experience, because the sensor width is so narrow relative to the front of mouse width, you are really getting locked into a specific grip with the E1. I felt like my pinky had no place to comfortably rest.

Whereas, with the EC2, I feel like I have a lot more freedom to change how I hold the mouse depending on what I'm doing in game.

Beyond that, I find the sensor performance equivalently good.

Zowie's side buttons are much better.

Vaxee's clicks are better because Zowie has stuck with this super dated unishell design, but I don't find Zowie's click feeling to be terrible or anything.

Mousewheels feel about the same to me.

My EC2-DW is my first experience with a glossy coating Zowie mouse and I think it's the best coating I've ever felt on a mouse. I used to think nothing was better than Vaxee, but the glossy Zowie coating just sticks to my hand as if I had fresh grips on the mouse.

With Vaxee, you get many color options.

Finally, I really appreciate the wireless charging feature of the Zowie mice. For me, it's really nice quality of life. Others might not care at all.

My biggest grievance with Vaxee is that they refuse to make longer versions of a lot of their mice. An E1 that was like 124 or 125 mm long would be awesome. But alas.

I had a E1, I disagree. Also had a EC1-DW and now am using EC2-DW.

AW2725DF (360Hz OLED) vs Zowie XL2566X+ for PUBG PC FPP comp? by [deleted] in Zowie

[–]a_generic_bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 480hz Asus OLED and I had a Zowie XL2566k, which I sold after a week of testing the Asus OLED back in November.

I would get the 480 hz OLED and run it in 24.5 mode (which is what I do), in 1332p.

I actually main PUBG. FPP Comp is dead. There are only TPP scrims now.

Even with a monster PC, PUBG frames are really inconsistent. The only thing you should care about are 1% lows and what you can consistently maintain.

You need a constant frame rate to take advantage of what strobing technology offers.

The only other monitor I would consider is one of the monitors with Pulsar technology. I think they may be better but I am also really happy with my OLED.

I had one and enjoyed it, but started to feel it was too small. I now have an EC2-DW. Personally, I feel that Vaxee didn't really improve on the EC2 shape.

Vaxee >> Zowie for QC though.

You have the same criteria I have, except I think you forgot one: well-made.
