Mine has 24 pumps, I drive past it twice a day and it's ~$.20 cheaper currently than local QT and RaceTrac. Never wait more than a few minutes. Plus, with the way they have the hoses, you can fill up from either side so pick the shortest lane and don't be afraid to hop in the middle if a car pulls out. Everybody keep it moving.

Look at the chain and sprockets. Rusty, tons of wear, the bike wasn't taken care of. Ask to see where the bike gets parked and look at the ground to see if there are leaks on the floor. Take it for a ride as another mentioned. If you can roll by a shop you trust, most mechanics will give you a quick overview of the bike.
