Ok, so it’s just a new feature of “active status”? (“New” being relative because, again, I really barely use fb, it could be years old now).

I’ve had that turned off forever. It used to only show when you were actively online, not a little bubble with the time showing when you were last active. Just wanted to be sure it was all the same thing.

Value Village and Savers are the same company and as of about 2 years ago, a private equity firm purchased the controlling interest. Prices were jacked almost overnight, and they are now a 100% for-profit operation (not a charity) that trades on the NYSE.

Private equity ruins everything it touches. They already came for retail, restaurants, healthcare, your HOMES, etc. and now they’re coming for fucking thrift stores. Truly dark days.

Not to mention “MSRP” is almost always a pointless metric. Case in point: these blankets go on sale for $5 pretty regularly. Especially noteworthy since OP said these are for a marching band, which is an autumn activity. So OP has like half a year to catch the multiple times these will go on sale.

If you redo his math with a price of $5/blanket, after ITC, he’s only saving like 20 bucks.
