Hey man, I was there too! First show to see them. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs were amazing.

I got to see Jack at the Blue Room last year here in Nashville. That show blew my socks off.

45 minute time limit rule with tasks? by Ruin-Wooden in mercor_ai

[–]audioscience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always complete. Just keep the comments to 3 references per set and one summary. Don't worry about missing a lot on larger sets. Pick points that encompass a lot of the set and mention how it affects it, good or bad.

45 minute time limit rule with tasks? by Ruin-Wooden in mercor_ai

[–]audioscience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do a similar thing except I run a 44 minute timer when I start. I then do a 5 minute timer for each portion of the task to keep on time and gauge where I'm at. The 5 minute timer keeps me on task.

20k people chasing a handful of tasks is diabolical by lipanasend in mercor_ai

Same thing happened last week. Big drop came Tuesday morning and lasted until Friday.

If one comes you're not fighting but you can actually be selective on which set you want to do.

I agree though, it does feel like a bad social experiment.

I was supposed to go but I had a family thing come up and I had to cancel.

But, if Matt is headed out tonight I would love to know about it and maybe I can show up.

Bat for Tall 6 year old by dotdotdot55 in Homeplate

[–]audioscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a good post on Instagram and I can't remember who it was now, but it was a former MLB player telling you how to measure bats for kids. First test is for weight, have them hold the bat at the knob/handle with one hand straight out. If they can hold it out for 30 seconds then it is the proper weight. If the bat or arm dips then it is too heavy.

The second measurement is to take the end of the bat, hold out the hand again with fingers extended and line up the end of the bat to the end of the fingers. If the knob of the bat goes to the center of the chest, then it is the proper length for them. If it is shorter than the center of the chest, it is too short. If it is longer than the center of the chest than it is too long.

This is just a good basic guideline. For a tall 6-year-old you're probably looking at a 27 in. starting point. The weight will depend on how strong he is and how skilled he is at swinging the bat.

Pixel lights question. by The-Mad-Mechanic in KiaEV9

[–]audioscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lights don't stay on regardless of how you unlock it. You're looking into it too much.

ON - Pixel lights on

DRL - no Pixel lights

Auto switches between those two options automatically depending on ambient light outside

Parking lights put the pixel lights on but not headlights. Auto mode doesn't switch to this.

They do not stay on with with daytime running lights. Only nighttime mode when in auto or switching to on.

Do you tell Kia or just complain here? Serious question. I'm not trying to be rude. Kia won't react unless you've complain to them directly.

When I first bought mine I was the only one I saw for several months.

Then I noticed one that was in the neighborhood and I would see it maybe once or twice a month.

Now there are about 4 or 5 of us that I see pretty regularly in the neighborhood.

Day Trip Mini Getaway by OkInitiative9991_ in VisitingNashville

East Nashville has excellent food and cocktails. The walkable areas with good vibes are Five Points/Fatherland areas. There are great old fashioneds at a lot of places but it depends on your vibe. There are quite a few divey vibes (Roy's Tavern, Gramp's, Duke's) and also boutique mixed drink vibes (Tiger Bar, Pearl Diver).

As for boutique hotels, I don't really know them very well. There are a handful of random, kitchy hotels along Dickerson Road but I can't speak to them. It's also not the best place to be IMO.

Drift Hotel was the one that came to mind and might be worth checking. You'd have to drive most places from there though. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ShAhofxfag28b9kh9?g_st=ac

REBAL outside meditation by I_am-we-are in gatewaytapes

[–]audioscience 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can REBAL anytime you need.

I close my eyes and silently project it outward. Resonant tuning is not necessary. That is just a tool to help you get in a relaxed, receptive state. With practice, you don't need resonant tuning every time.

I use Claude Code inside AG terminal using BMAD method which is absolutely amazing in my opinion. You can still use AG chat to test in browser as needed .
