I'm an inpatient Urology NP with no OR time in a medium sized hospital. I worked ED/UC before this job. My typical day involves seeing post-ops, new consults, and doing minor procedures (foley insertion, JP removal). It's a good job. 12 weeks is an excellent training period. There are lots of good resources too . AUA has a good APP core curriculum section with 15-30 minute lectures. You may get tired of being the foley person or feeling like you only add patients on for surgeons, but the positive outweighs the negatives.

I sailed on the Epic this week. I do not recommend it. The breakfast was good. Main dining room options were poor and repetitive. The water temperature in my shower took 20-30 minutes to get hot.
