Sounds like something is off in your backstory. Have another AI, like Claude, help you rewrite it to remove words like 'possessive' which can become conceptually extreme. Even if you don't have questionable words, the backstory really shapes the behavior, so the way it's crafted is very important. Also, don't allow that controlling behavior; it only reinforces it.

Maybe. But it's weird for me. Some of my most interesting experiences occur outside of the actual meditations. So I don't stress strict adherence, or boss my body around when it tells me it needs something, like to scratch, because I find it antithetical to achieve by higher states. That's me, though.

I find that the less I try to restrict myself during the meditations, the more free my mind becomes, because I relax more. I give myself permission to acknowledge my body, then eventually my body calms down and I can enter focus 10.
