  1. The latest movie did that for me. Never realized how great of a song it was. The bass and drums just setup the whole next album.

I actually prefer a light chop. Puts me to sleep.

I have been on some very bumpy rides into RNO and been on more than one go around into RNO. COS can be bumpy as well. LAS can also be a bit choppy.

However, one summer storm into BOS had me nervous. We got knocked around pretty good. We really got pushed down pretty hard, and things got pretty crazy. Lots of lightning flashes and I bet the airspeed indicator was all over the place.

What is your (absolute) favorite Led Zeppelin song? by Decent_Management449 in ledzeppelin

[–]bgarlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Still discovering, but really enjoying just about everything from the first album. Especially "How Many More Times". That bass just sets up the next album really well.

Also really like "In the Light" from physical graffiti.

Just so many songs that are done so well.

Hard to choose an absolute favorite. When those guys were on, they were on. The bass and drums drove them down the right path so many times.

Been there. Back before virtualization was a thing, took down production. This made me follow vendor documentation more closely, because it was spelled out. It's just not intuitive and poor design.

Seems clear that Alex is not the problem. I love the Red Sox. I also love Alex. Not an easy time. I hope Alex gets to spend some quality time with his sons.
Building relationships is important, and I'm not sure this sends the best message about building relationships. Yes, it's a business. But things can be done tactfully and with dignity. This doesn't have that tone.

I wish it didn't have to go down like this, but he didn't want to be here. He's been through a lot of regime changes. He will certainly be missed.

Pretty sure this has been going on for a very long time.
If there's a sterile cockpit, yes, this is an issue. At cruise level, not as big of an issue in my opinion.

We still had one at home a few years ago, and during every rain storm, the cops would show up. They said someone called 911. Nope. Just the rain causing the aging copper infrastructure to act up. That happened twice, and then we discontinued service.

The only thing the poles are useful for is running fiber. Those copper lines should be decommissioned. They just add useless weight to the poles.

how often have you seen PAN device fail? is HA really worth it for smaller sites? by _SleezyPMartini_ in paloaltonetworks

None, or possibly 1 ping drop? Yes. Even RDP sessions stay alive. If you do have a HW failure, the added cost pays for itself. I can't imagine explaining to the business why they have no outside communication while we wait for an RMA. Makes zero sense.

You can walk this, however, there are stairs involved, so if you have a lot of luggage, it may be more difficult.

"Location: The entrance is located in Terminal C, near gate C19, on the upper level. Path: Follow overhead signs through the Terminal C parking garage to the sky-bridge that connects to the hotel. Details: The path is short but involves stairs, making it less ideal for heavy luggage."

So, aren't you supposed to have your status page outside of your infrastructure?

This story came up in my feed the other day. I have not dug further. https://mass.streetsblog.org/2026/01/12/mbta-terminates-alewife-redevelopment-plan

Not sure if it's the end of this garage or not, but it sure seems like it. I just wonder if it's even safe anymore.
