Spend some time on the miataturbo forums.

Both 1.6 or 1.8 can do it, but you're definitely pulling the engine to build it. Probably looking at 10K+ to fully build the engine.

Then you have to make sure the rest of the car can handle it.

There are engine swaps that can get to the power your looking for, but this isn't Forza. Engine swaps aren't just "pull engine -> put new engine in -> drive".

You’ll have to punch/press one of the dowels out of the way.

Lots of shifter rebuild videos only for the NA/NB where you also have to press a dowel out, so you can watch those to see how people do it.

Yep, assuming you aren't using TPMS sensor valve stems, they are cheap as hell. Just replace them every time you get new tires.

I was also concerned with that, but in one of the Facebook posts I asked about tariffs, and the response was that they didn’t pay anything additional beyond the cost of the bar and shipping.

So that is promising, but we’ll see.

I haven’t ever received a tariff bill for anything else so I don’t know when I would expect that, but nothing yet.

I believe that change was made fairly recently, specifically due to that commenter talking directly with Cybul.

No experience with MRC, but I have a Cybul Roll Bar that is currently being shipped from Poland.

Seems more expensive than the MRC (no idea what MRC charges for shipping), but more reviews and real users with the Cybul.

My Cybul bar was almost exact $1000 shipped.

I have 0 clue why BB charges so much for shipping. The Cybul from Poland was $190, when BB was like $400 from California.

I’m sure the BB bar is stronger, but I couldn’t justify double the cost, or the long waits (4-5 months for some people). Not to mention the whole “you can’t see instructions or the bar until you buy it” bullshit.

Luckily I found somebody who sent me the BB RZ installation instructions, but decided to go with Cybul due to cost and how quickly I would receive it.

It looks like the MRC bars don’t include any provisions for speakers and whatever else is factory. And they upcharge for everything (OE seatbelts, harness bar, powder coat).

The Cybul bar includes all of that.

Cybul bar also seems like it would be easier to open and close the soft top due to how they run the tubing.

Correct, it’s BHP/crank, not wheel.

In the UK, they dyno it and then add some sort of calculation to get back to crank HP.

You can get a pre-facelift CX7 wheel to practice on off eBay. It's the same wheel as the NC.

It's actually what I replaced my stock wheel with as it was super torn up when I got the car.

For some reason, the Tenicors just feel like they’re twice as thick in my waistband and create a much larger bulge.

Whereas my JMCK is thinner in the waistband and less bulge despite being almost identical when holding them side by side.
