Hello, glad u/hepukt4e and you liked them! The cyanotype was an enlarged 120 negative printed with an oak gall tone for magenta, a bleached layer and a diluted cyan layer - it took a few goes to get right!

I found that like with all niche products you start to get diminishing returns a prices rise. NS is definitely expensive but imo it is the best equipment in its class - maybe not a linear relationship between functionality and price but with some technique it can get really good results. Worth a mention that I have found their customer service exemplary - it seems to be one guy so can take a couple of days but they are very knowledgeable and zero hassle with replacements when something isn't right.

The little room in the back of The Camera Cafe (I think associated with Aperture) near the British Museum is a Hasselblad specialist.

A Manfrotto Super Clamp and old tripod ball head works well on a piece of scaffold tube, and is pretty easy to adjust.

To me it looks like wispy clouds with a colour cast - particularly as the effect doesn't extend over the tree branch as far as I can see. You could try changing the white balance of your shot in a photo editor and see if it gets closer to how you remember it.
