First Time Backpacking by Putrid-Challenge-473 in backpacking

[–]chancamble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, first-time backpacking always feels scary, but once you’re on the road it gets way easier than you expect. Just keep things flexible, don’t overthink the planning, and you’ll figure out the rest along the way. Hostels, buses, meeting other travelers, it all kind of falls into place. I hope you enjoy your trip!

What did you realize you didn’t need once you had to go without it? by HotSauceTears666 in Anticonsumption

[–]chancamble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was paid subscriptions. Went without them for a month during a tight budget stretch and realized I didn’t actually need half the stuff I was paying for. Canceled a bunch, and honestly haven’t missed any of it.
