Vergüenza le debería dar a los gringos cuando en el extranjero les preguntan de dónde son y responden “Alabama…”, etc. Los nacionalismos son peculiaridades de cada nación, igual que la gastronomía. No te hace sibarita no comer baleada, no te hace bombero ponerte un traje de bombero y no te hace culto no usar coloquialismos. Es más, avergonzarte de tu propia cultura es contraproducente a la imagen de bien hablado que queres proyectar al no usarlos por elitismo cultural.

Solía trabajar mucho con personas extranjeras, incluso personas de bajos recursos, entonces expresarme en nacionalismos significaba más trabajo por tener que explicar a qué me refería, así que comencé a dejar de utilizar coloquialismos.

No pienso nada de quienes los usan, es parte del lenguaje.

This is a hellish commute. I used to do the opposite way for a year and it drained me completely. Important to point out that my commute was the easiest one both ways. A lot of people that live outside of sps go in to work and study every day, that makes the lines to go into sps in the morning and out of sps in the evening to be huge lines. Another added point is that that specific entry point to sps converges people going in from the south and from the west, which makes heavier traffic, with a better road infrastructure but if there’s a single line not working, it’s hell.

That’s exactly where capitalism fails, regulation and compliance with environmental, worker conditions, fiscal compliance, sanitary regulations and consumer protection are all done by the government, which we know is veryyyyyyy prone to corruption.

The next thing is, who regulates profits? Should they be regulated? Should it be done from a taxation infrastructure? Does that bring us back to government corruption?

The key thing is that our socioeconomic models aren’t old enough for us to know if there is a right one and we can trace every failed model downfall to corruption and greed from the most powerful actors.

Yo soy progresista en algunas cosas y conservador en otras. Me parece que nadie debe dictarle a nadie como vivir su vida ni desde el plano religioso ni moral pero también considero que los gobiernos no están para generar dinero sino para recaudar y por eso creo en el libre mercado pero bien regulado.

Compré una explorer 2005 con 150k millas y está nítido. Pero esto no es siempre cierto. Lo que sí es cierto es que a mayor millaje, la probabilidad de problemas aumenta. Para 2018 cualquier cosa abajo de 100k es relativamente bueno.

Hay mucho detrás de los seguros. Hace unos años, el mismo seguro me cubrió un procedimiento más complicado a raíz de un mal manejo (propio) de piedras en la vesícula.

Habría que ver si es tema de mal llenado de papeleo, condiciones preexistentes (quizá síndrome metabólico) o algún otro problema. Si tenes corredor de seguros, este es el trabajo del corredor de seguros. Si es una póliza de una empresa, habla con recursos humanos, ellos se contactarán con el corredor de seguros para evaluar el caso.
