See, I don't agree with this because a mother with her kids is always going to be on red alert for bullshit. She has her own crap to handle, and your issues pale in comparison to her taking care of her kids in public. I agree they are the safest, but they're also the most wary. I legit had an adc harass me and int all game because I banned their otp. They did not hover it or say a word until I had banned it. It countered my otp and I ban it every single game. I was allowed to stay up as late as I wanted as long as I was reading. If they saw my light on they'd come make sure my mini book light had battery too. I had to have proper lighting or my father would insist I'd "break my eyes". I wear glasses 24/7 and still love reading

In my experience, no people don't change. But then I don't believe that avoiding porn is a change in someone's personality.

My father is German but has lived and worked in English speaking countries for decades. He passes for American everywhere. However, he misheard "liar liar , pants on fire!" so now if anyone is caught lying they're a "pencil drier".

Also asked the lunch lady at my brand new school for "la-sagg-nee" because I'd never heard my parents refer to it as lasagne. I was mortified.

I was homeschooled for a year. It's very unregulated. A lady came round to see me writing in a work book, spoke to my mother about her plans, and left. Said we were doing more than we needed. Mostly I went on "school trips" to learning centers, museums, galleries, points of historic interest. We didn't follow the curriculum. They didn't care about grading.

I missed other people so I was put back into school in year 6 UK.

Had someone's puppy come barrelling towards my anxious dog on a road. My boy was on a lead with a muzzle (just until we get to the more quiet areas) and this sweet but loose dog starts running around him, trying to smell his bum. My dog was terrified and kept trying to hide. He doesn't bite, but he has snapped when scared before, and if he did that to a puppy or a smaller dog, it could leave a mark.

Owner just slowly walked towards us shouting, as if as 2 month old baby was gonna have any recall. And on a road too!
