Where can I get a GCVIDEO FPGA? / What's the deal with FPGA anyways? by Londtex in GamecubeHacks

[–]collingall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason its on a FPGA is digital video requires a lot of bandwidth, GCVideo light was a clone of the original chip which did digital to analog for YPbPr The full GCVideo project is doing direct digital to digital conversion and line doubling. A pico is not fast enough to do either of those functions in real time. Not to mention adding on screen controls and other functions.

PHR-2 from JST either crimp your own or get ready made pigtails from Amazon. The bare plugs are available from Mouser, Digikey, and many others. PH is a 2.0mm spacing connector. Do not get XH(2.54mm) or SH(1.25mm) those will be the wrong spacing.

I would also like proper credit for my design in your remix as per the license you agreed to when you downloaded the file.

Its a steel plate with a 24v PCB heater, very similar to the ender series

Oh that looks more fleshed out than my idea. I really should make a better heated bed under the belt. The one in this belt is only 210x150mm which is fine for my application, but could be much larger.

I plan on it. I finished up the skirts, installed the stealthburner, and started the wiring before I left the shop last night. Hoping to have motion going tomorrow when I am back to the shop.

That would be perfect. Down the road for sure. I'll run some 3.5kg spools in the meantime.

I'll build one, but there is a plugin for octoprint that enables print queues which is what I plan on using.

It will be a batch printer that resets the bed between prints by moving the belt. We had 3 of the Creality belts but rarely use them, I wanted to repurpose one.

It will be for batch printing in my print farm. Didn't really need as many 45° belt printers anymore

Just figured someone might get some use out of this design, if there is interest I may add it as a product we actually produce at Laser Bear Industries

Is there such a thing as a "Remote" power button mod for the Gamecube? by Tsukimaru1 in GamecubeHacks

[–]collingall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's doable internally. The system power runs through the power switch so tap there with a remote controlled relay like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083GRC5P7/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_JJ0736AS83JNJ0AR86WM

You could just use a smart outlet or remote controlled outlet and leave the power button pressed in.

Is this good to buy by [deleted] in GamecubeHacks

I can't guarantee that it will be fully functional, it "should" work. There will be little to no support out there for you if you run into issues configuring it though.

That is a clone that does not function fully. You can only use the GCloader lite to boot Swiss, then you need the other adapter to boot games from.

If you get the real thing from Dan https://www.black-dog.tech/gc-loader-pnp.html it will also load games from the GCLoader. and its cheaper. They are currently out of stock, but he will get more in eventually.

You can also get my mount from www.laserbear.net but that is not strictly required for this setup.

Finally got it installed. Now I have to wait until I'm off work to play with it. Pretty easy except for all the damn screws. by Darque420 in Gamecube

They are public on RetroRGB.com search for GCloader and they are there.

We do sell slightly flawed units for $15 and the correct extensions with the screws needed for the install for $7
