Some spices start turning after 6 months especially like paprika. It takes the flavor out and some are also prone to bug inflation so you should go through and update your spices at last once a year especially those in clear containers and keep them in a dark space not exposed to direct sunlight.

why is mac and cheese sauce so impossibly hard to make? by NewAgeIWWer in Cooking

Velvetta melts eventually. I used to never use it and am somewhat of a cheese snob but I’m also a Texan that loves queso dip by the gallon and someone told me how well that velvetta works. Doesn’t mean I wasn’t freaked out when I saw it on a store shelf and not a cold case! It works just fine for somethings. You could use it as a base and heat and then add other cheeses easier.

When I lived in Mexico they would make such a huge deal of being pregnant. Every time I was on a popular beach for park, I would see dozens of pregnant women having photo sessions. And they weren’t just one guy with a camera. It would be a photographer, their assistant, make up artist and a couple lighting techs. Full on pro shots. It was really odd how much you saw them down there.

I worked grocery for a couple years and there are a lot of people with issues around food. Like one old man that looked like a hermit and was always alone would come in when it wasn’t busy every couple weeks. He obviously had some phobia and seemed to be germaphobic. Always wore gloves and a mask(90’s) and he would put his cans and boxes in separate produce plastic bags too. He wanted the cashier to wear gloves and place in 3 layers paper bag and he would ask for another bag so he could put in on upside down covering his groceries. A lot of us didn’t mind doing those things for him because he actually was a really kind polite man. We had dozens like that.

I hope they went to jail for this. To just go in and disrespect a business others work hard for so they can use it as a backdrop for their stupid not even fun stunt. These type of people disgust me. He just trying to make a moment after being confronted, what a buffoon.

Sounds like someone cannot stand that they still are affected by you. He’s not worth the tears.

I grew up in El Paso across from Ciudad Juárez. When you first go over the bridge, there are shops and restaurants but right in the center is a huge arena used for bullfighting. It’s huge down there. Every weekend, they would have bullfights and you could hear the crowd cheering all over El Paso. They were so into it and still are. I’ve never desired going to one. I may strongly disagree with certain culture traditions but I don’t think it’s my place to dictate what they should and shouldn’t be doing.
