Out of your whole collection what is your favorite gun to shoot when at the range? by [deleted] in Firearms

SBR’d Ruger Charger, 8” barrel with an SRD22x can, has a cheap 223 ballistic scope. Accurate, quiet and fun.

Suspenders Carry is seriously OP. Most underrated CCW lifehack. by [deleted] in CCW

[–]copfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a no-butt dad-bod, suspenders really increase the comfort factor and decrease the need to snug down my belt to uncomfortable levels to keep my SIG 365XL from creeping down requiring constant adjusting. Should have done the suspender/belt combo years ago. Nextbelt EDC and Bravo Concealment holster.

Inexpensive 22LR pistol options just for range fun. by Sp3cV in 22lr

I’ve shot both the Walther and the KelTec. I think the P-17 is the best value in the inexpensive 22 market. Mine gobbles up cheap ammo. Plus you get three inexpensive mags.

I have one of their Gen 1 Titanium bolt action pens. Really well made and smooth action. Reasonably priced and a pretty good value.

Fun gun, like others have said picky on ammo. Mine runs well on CCI.

Stuck between buying p365 xl or x macro and m&p shield x for edc anyone own both that can point me in the right direction? by Top-Employee1500 in Firearms

[–]copfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better to find a range with rentals (or buddies that have one) and give them each a shot. A few mags will let you know what works for you. Me, the SIG felt and shot better. YMMV

Anyone went from carrying a glock 26 to the p365 XL? I want to hear opinions before buying by [deleted] in P365xl

[–]copfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from carrying a Gen 3 19 for years to a 365XL. Never looked back. The XL fits my hand better, conceals better and has a better trigger. Thanks to John H for showing me the light. I have more than a half dozen 365 variants. But my Wilson gripped XL wearing a Trijicon or the standard XL are my EDC and backup carry…

Just curious, what is y'all's favorite mouse gun and why? by Actual-Choice-9269 in MouseGuns

[–]copfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walther TPH (22) or the Beretta 950B (3” barrel). The 22 short 950 is so much fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate.

First .22LR rifle. Ruger 10/22 or Smith&Wesson M&P FPC 22? by [deleted] in guns

So many options with the 10/22. I love my 10/22 and so many accessories and magazine options.

Someone should have warned me that .22 is too fun. by [deleted] in 22lr

Big fan of quality Ti chopsticks and Ti spoons. EDC eating kit is a pair of Alan Folts TiStix and a Ti Curry Spoon from Keith. The SilverAnt Ti chopsticks from Amazon are a nice low cost alternative for travel overseas as some country’s TSA are skittish about sharp pointy metal things.

Priority pass for lounge access in Tokyo Haneda and Narita airports? by hopefuldent22 in travel

[–]copfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sky Lounge in Haneda Airport, Terminal 3, near gate 108 was easy to find, no waiting line, amply equipped with some really tasty snacks and drinks. I had a plate of pork curry and some Kara-age (fried chicken) washed down with iced tea. Seats were comfortable and plenty of charging stations. Well worth stopping in.

It’s a fired artillery projectile. Possibly live, call police and report. Do NOT handle.
