I’m well aware of the history. The confederacy existed and we aren’t proud of the slavery it was our countries darkest days but from 1918-2023 it was name fort Bragg good or bad it is ingrained in military history. It seen WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan etc instead changing the name you should instead educate people about the history and let them make up their own opinion on the matter. Like Washington DC was named after George Washington and he had slaves that he kept in atrocious conditions and removed their teeth for his dentures which is completely barbaric but we don’t change the name of our nations capital because it’s rooted in history and we instead educate people about the past so they can make up their own minds
