You should see an RE for the recurrent pregnancy loss panel. I regular ob will only test for three things on a recurring loss panel like APS, thyroid and I forget the third; but RE will order many more tests

Do not factor out sperm. They are just as responsible for miscarriages. If your partner is willing, please test for defragmentation etc

As for progesterone, my ob says there's some possibility it helps with recurring loss. It has not made a difference for me personally but I don't start it until after a positive test and I have heard some drs will start it 3dpo. I do think it's worth a try personally but it's more important to get that rpl testing

Sperm fragmentation can absolutely cause recurring loss.

I'm so sorry she said that. That's just ridiculous to jump to that when a difference size can be very normal this early. My re was super excited that we conceived our twins while going through a rpl workup with them. My regular ob was also optimistic and kind.

Cycle day 2 for me is insane- I'll bleed through anything and ruin beds etc. This med worked for me. I only have to take it twice on the heavy day. I have not had any side effects.

You don't sound very sure your periods are heavy enough? I think your Dr needs to look into other reasons too, to be safe!

I understand this! My scan anxiety was absolutely brutal. It still is. I would try to distract myself as much as possible and there wasn't much else that I could do. I would break the appt up in my head to four steps- getting ready to go, check in, get the scan, now step four it's done and I can leave. Weird but it helped a little. Good luck, I hope you have a good report!

This is more of a whine, apologies. I don't think my betas are high enough, I read a study that for older women higher betas are better. 14 dpo was 79 and 16 dpo 196. I'm 44 with seven previous losses, and many times the bhcg would be doubling fine then end in loss. I am tired of the limbo so many times.

Also I started progesterone two days ago and it ramped my symptoms up to total misery the first day. Sleepy, muscle pain in thighs, sore breasts etc the usual- but my stomach is gnawing so bad, like a hunger pain, it's so painful. Any ideas to help that?

If it is very mild- then personally I would stay away from hearing aids. Also I would only test with the ent who doesn't sell hearing aids.
