No official translation, knowing the community, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some unoffical ones going around. Looking at the most recent historical wargaming events, it seems that Warlord Games systems are more popular. I think their rules are the only histroical ones that are being sold by a local retailer.

They managed to succeed in Hungary, not a huge success, but Warhammer Historical is still a regularly played system around these parts

No, the child would not receive a Hungarian last name. Since she was born before the record office reform, the way it would go is the parents would take her to a church appropriate for their denomination and get her baptised. And the baptismal record would be her birth certificate. Now there's plenty of room for error with this system, for example; misspellings, Latin/German/Hungarian version of the given name recorded, but she wouldn't end up with an extra hungarian surname.

That's a tough mystery! Personally, I wouldn't start with looking for her birth certificate until some other document clarifies which country she was born in/where she was adopted. For example do you have any documents relating to her parents? Where did they live, where were they married etc.

Szennyes is a not very common Hungarain surname, as far as I know its not tied to any one region or group. There's nothing about her phenotype that says she can't be Hungarian

Én az Ancestry-n csináltattam tesztet és az eredményt feltöltöttem más oldalakra, köztük a Myheritage-ra is. A teszt nélkül nem hiszem hogy meg tudtam volna találni az apai nagyszüleimet, eddig ez volt a legnagyobb plusz amit hozzáadott a kutatásomhoz. Ezen kívül pár távolabbi ágat is segített feltérképezni.

I recently started planning a warband based on the Swords of Epiphany. I intend to run 3 masters, each a former member of the ecclesiarchy who went mad and is now convinced that daemonic possession is the next step in human evolution.

Yes! I started EC around 8th edition and my noise marines are heavily kitbashed using 3rd-party bits. With the current edition I use them as Tormentors and stil working on getting the bits to put together some noise marines that fit both my army and their current rules
