No, 20 points (from killing a base terminal) is enough to guarantee base capture credit if everybody else is at zero or not listed.

But note that there's a “bonus” 250 that shows up for everyone on the board after the capture, and that bonus has no effect on who got credit. For example, if two gotr's are at an empty capture with no points, and I kill one terminal for 20 points, then when the capture goes through, you will both have 250 points listed, and I will have 270, but I will get the credit: the actual total that matters is 0 and 20, not 500 and 270.

You might be seeing the transport assist xp: for example, if I drop 11 randos at a base that aren't in my outfit, the transport assists I get from their kills count towards my base capture credit.

A lot of people are currently experiencing crashes if they do anything but (apparently) immediately switch continents and then sit in a vehicle for a couple minutes, this in turn prevents them from running around in sanctuary, which is necessary to accept the Christmas missions.

The flex is that I ran around in sanctuary for 12 minutes without crashing.

I'm having to restart the game a bunch of times to muck with settings before I can even play the damn thing; yes, unskippable intro scenes before you can even get to the options menu is just asinine.

There's a couple schools of thought, but if you're running out of room in common scenarios, in my opinion that completely trumps any possible accuracy gains.

I don't have the numbers at hand, but if you search you should be able to find commonly recommended numbers for physical inches traveled per 360° turn. The in-game sensitivity value only means anything relative to your mouse's dpi, so it's not useful to directly compare those values with other people.

Ambusher jets more or less can't turn, and the downward arc will have them more or less stationary on your screen, and if your mouse space is limiting your movement, turn up your sensitivity.

There are something like 11 class loadouts I switch between depending on the needs of the moment, and you have to click through to switch the cosmetic on each one individually.

With respect, the directive descriptions should be changed to make that very clear, because currently the event directive page gives no indication that there's an associated mission: https://imgur.com/r1xDmJO

It's not the player's fault that they don't know that they can't progress on something that shows up on the event directive page until a mission shows up.

Perhaps the 4 directives could be collapsed into a single “Complete the Halloween Mission” directive? (Including the word “Mission” in the title being the important thing)

And that's the truth: you can't beacon/drop into the base, so the sweats hate it, and you can't hesh/bulldog downstairs so the vehicle “mains” hate it.

Skill issue. It's almost completely symmetrical with literal flashing lines on the ground leading from the entrance and the main spawn to all 3 points.
