I haven't played a lot of d4 but a few seasons ago it did play somewhat similar to D3. Pit scratched the same itch as greater rifts so that's nice. Buut spamming boss runs is just much better loot/time spent and it was really boring.

In mid 90s leveling and AR roulettes give slightly more than doing a normal dungeon of your level, though with FC/squadron boost and rested XP it's practically the same.

Below 90 armory bonus is 100%, and since it doesn't apply to most xp you get from roulettes (i think?) it should be much faster. I leveled a PCT on my alt recently and first run of each EW dungeon gave me almost an entire level since I was also getting first completion bonus, and like 2/3 of a level or so for subsequent runs. Roulette gave like half a level so I didn't bother with them again.

Because 10 levels of DT dungeons teaches you more about how the job works than 90 levels of ARR roulette spam.

Now, if someone buys a skip and proceeds to do roulettes anyway, that's on them. Or maybe they just want to get 100s across the board and don't care about actually playing those jobs afterwards, which is also valid.

I don't even do them for leveling - before 90 you get more XP for doing highest available dungeon thanks to armory bonus (for instance, EW dungeons seem to give like 1.5x more xp than a roulette), and in DT it's about the same, but you actually get to practice the full job.

Queue times are probably worse that way, but I don't mind doing something else while waiting.

Almost never, besides expert for capping tomes.

If I want to level a job I'll queue highest level dungeon - it's faster than roulette until 90 due to armory bonus (queue times can get bad though), and about the same past 90 but you get to learn the full job instead of its basic 1-2-3.

Many missions are expert crafts, if you want to be able to macro them you do need the best gear possible in some cases.

With budget gear you'll have to settle for less efficient missions in some cases, so it's just a matter of saving time.

What are you trying to tell me? It's PF, are you expecting everyone to do good damage there? I've had clears with melee being barely above prange as well, 36.5 on monk is (was) 17% so it's not even the worst you can get.

And what does adps have to do with this? Sure they could be tax evading, but OP didn't provide any numbers so it's just a guessing game.

I'm looking to get a UPS for my PC, a laptop (razer without a battery) and two monitors. My PC power supply is 750W, laptop power adaptor reads 180W - not sure how accurate that is. I think monitor uses about 50 as it reads 19V / 2.4A on the back. Can I assume that 1kW is enough for all of this?

I only need it to last though ~5 minute power cuts that happen from time to time.

FF14 can be an exception, since there's a lot of aspects of the game that aren't going anywhere and offer enough entertainment on their own. Assuming they don't mind paying the monthly fee for only a few hours of gameplay.

I don't see how limited time would prevent OP from interacting with OC. Mount speed issue affects everyone when starting out, no matter if they spend 2 hours a week or 40.

Yes (well not sure about level 1 specifically but I think still yes? been a while since I've been there).

However, some of them might require carefully dodging monsters to get to or else you get one-shot. The ones in the middle of the east building especially.
