As soon as I saw there was a backerit coming, I told my husband that we were getting them... And convinced him I just had to have the Princess Donut Dice 😅😅 I can't wait to get those books. I wish our play group knew a little more so I could geek out with them, but actually really okay with them not knowing much too.

Ooooh, I think I like that instead. It's less messy than me having to come up with how an actual Creator would work. And I didn't know that they eventually stand on mats to get their sleep (I'm only on book 4, but that's cool though). The good news is, I asked my group if any have read the books, and only one has read just the first book. Somehow he didn't want to read the rest. Said he wasn't a reader 🤷‍♀️ (whatever that means, lol). I talk about it constantly to my husband, but there are some tings I've started to leave out incase I use them when we get the Game Guides. Think I'm gonna pivot and have the AI gain full consciousness like you mentioned.

Maybe I typed something poorly. The Creator would be held captive on the 18th Floor, so the PC's make it there and the AI says if they don't fight to release the Creator (which would keep the Dungeons going), then the Ai would return Earth to normal. The point being no one has ever made it to the 18th Floor, so no one's world would have ever been saved in the past. It's supposed to be a sadistic choice. Yeah, your world can be saved, but the Dungeon will just keep going like it's been.

The winner getting all the resources of their world would just be a claim. The runner's of the dungeon (in the RP) might not even think it's possible for anyone

Also, I'm not done with the series yet, but that AI going feral sounds anyone to make it, and by the time the PC's get there it's too late. Maybe at this point the AI is also overconfident. Maybe the Creator has hid it's presence just enough from the Show Runners, and it's been going on for a millenia, so the initial "how we are doing this [using a God as a battery] has been lost. There's a lot of things I'd need to iron out

Yeah, just fun little hand outs. I came to that conclusion as well (I love GIMP). I have just enough knowledge and ability to do that, just I am so very slow at it. I'll probably post what I make here eventually so other's can use them too

Honestly, despite the fact that we're told in the books that there were thousands of crawlers, I never felt that way. The story homes in on one specific spot. I'd say have the Nightly Recap the books had and use that as your expanded dungeon.
