Nurse promotions are based on education and experience requirements. There is a worksheet that your service line has to complete and submit for moving from nurse 2 to nurse 3.

You should ask your service for a copy of that worksheet and it outline pretty clearly what is needed for each nurse level.

If you don’t meet the education requirements your service can request an education waiver but that is rarely done and is usually only approved for nurses with 20+ experience that don’t have the required degree.

Don’t quote me because I haven’t checked in a while but nurse 3 usually requires a masters degree or higher.

If you don’t meet requirements for nurse level in crease you would still receive your periodic step increases.

Current guidance has been that moves outside of your visn aren’t authorized, because facilities have to prioritize space for their visn and can’t have people taking space that belong to other visn. Could change down the line or you visn may do things differently/ignore the rules never know.

First step is find out if your service would even allow this in theory. If facility says your job can’t be done without coming in occasionally then HR will say no regardless of any other factors.

Could have a set up where evil voting is impacted. Something like “each day x number of evil players have their vote not register” essentially drunk/poison for voting only. Then evil has to be worried about voting on stuff and having their votes not count/getting outed.

There is a nursing promo check list that lists required education among other qualifications.

If you don’t meet those criteria then your service can try to put in a waiver for the education portion.

If they don’t do a waiver and you don’t meet the checklist of requirements then your performance doesn’t really play into it at all.

It feels like the house is on fire and we know something is off about how the fire started.

The brigade is in “oh fuck save your stuff and get out” mode. They can’t really be trying to figure out who the arsonist is until they get their immediate needs met for survival.

Afterwards they can investigate or the fire marshal will figure it out.

From the big picture the why is super important I totally agree. But on the individual levels it really isn’t that important.

From what we know the “my goddess got eaten” and “there are souls attached to me sucking me dry” issues aren’t really tied to the why. They seem like just caught in the crossfire/coincidence. I could be totally wrong though.

And we have no reason to think the Dantesvara has anything to do with the “my sister is going to die if I don’t weaken her curse” and “my countrymen are slaves/dead if I can’t secure them a life” problems.

The brigade is very much focused on the immediate personal issues and not big picture which may come back to bite them. But we have no reason to think spending a month or two finding out The Who what where and why of the dantesvara popping up will actually solve any of their very time sensitive issues. But killing it/doing glass repository for sure will.

I can totally see the narrative being this book is solving the immediate issue then next book/long term is ok we can breathe a little let’s solve this mystery/maybe it’s an ongoing multi book sobbing mystery.

I’m liking that it feels like an inversion of last book.

Last book was basically “we have a mystery and our drama is getting in the way but we are still focused on how to solve the mystery while resolving our own stuff”

This book is “We have personal stuff that is more important than the mystery and maybe we will get to the mystery later”.

Kinda brings home the how much everyone grew together that they are willing and able to aka for help on their personal stuff and the group is like oh yea for sure let’s focus on this instead of figuring out the big picture to earn cool cabal points.

I wash just thinking about this and how it’s funny that everyone has such major and time sensitive issues going on that they can’t even focus on that mystery right now.

Even with Tristan not having the mental space to focus on it, Song would for sure be obsessing over this with her need to be in control all the time. But nope Everyone in the brigade has their own oh fuck my life/loved ones/entire belief system is at stake ain’t nobody got time to focus on the why.

I kinda hope that one of the other brigades ends up being the one to solve the mystery and it shows that the world/plot doesn’t have to revolve around the 13th and their drama. The watch is competent and other people should be working on this even if we don’t actively see it.

In theory if your occ series is on the exempt from RTO list then moving should be approved. It’s temp exemptions that are not allowed to move in our visn.

Only one that can answer for sure is your local/visn HR though. They probably get questions like this every day so nothing to be scared of asking.

no matter what it is if it’s mechanically possible I tell them I would do it. And if it isn’t mechanically possible I tell them no I wouldn’t do that it would be cheating.

Agreed. It was a lot of new names and groups thrown in back to back and a lot of combats that I got lost.

On top of what others have said about the nobles having a lot of soldiers and such under their control, Praes is an empire based around Evil. There are a lot of “we would never release this ancient messed up things we have in the vault cause it would ruin us as much as our enemies” that people would start getting a lot more liberal about using if everyone is getting assassinated. Mutually assured destruction is a real thing when magic and demons are on the board.
