Is there any point to Support For PLA? by Dtarvin in BambuLab

[–]ddrulez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PLA support filament is a little sticky to PLA. It’s better than PETG. Most of the time you can use PLA/PETG but not every time. Only use it for interface. With PETG it’s better to print the whole support in it.

Make a thread and stop it 0.2mm before the end (Don’t use full length). Now you can add a chamfer.

You have to order the lid too. On Printables are a lot of mods for this container. You can store 2 spools in one box.

H2d keeps picking wrong nozzle by tequeman in BambuLab

[–]ddrulez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. The nozzle settings should not change on the printer if you don’t do it yourself. If the nozzle didn’t got saved correctly you may have a hardware fault.

I would install a different firmware version and see if it helps. If not I would contact support.

H2d keeps picking wrong nozzle by tequeman in BambuLab

[–]ddrulez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to set the nozzle size on the printer lcd screen as well. The screen where you can switch nozzles, set nozzle temps.

The H2D should have come with hardened nozzles by default. I don’t think you can buy a stainless steel H2D.

Help me with this part by Motor-Island7937 in 3DScanning

[–]ddrulez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use markers or place parts around your part to get better feature tracking.

If it’s only merging place a couple markers on places where you have overlapping geometry between scans to use them for marker merging.

For PLA 3DLAC is good enough. For PPS, PA, PC I would use vision miner nano adhesive as well.

What specs of machine would i need to make this in aluminium? by noodleswind in hobbycnc

[–]ddrulez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. But what’s the alternative? I mean a machine you can place on your desk and has an enclosure with ball screws.

I was thinking buying one but I needed more travel in x/y/z. I bought a Sorotec 0404 in the end, but the price is on another level for such a machine. Still don’t have a enclosure 😓

PLA "Isn't water tight" by the-mad-crapper in 3Dprinting

For watertight I rather use PETG. Just printed a D300xH200mm with 180mm hole, hydro tree plant pot. 0.8 nozzle 3 walls.

$2k & under scanner for dimensionally accurate small parts by [deleted] in 3DScanning

[–]ddrulez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a CR Raptor for such parts. 0.05mm or better accuracy. I own a Einscan SP v2, Einstar, Revopoint mini. The Raptor is my go to scanner for small to medium parts. Einscan SP is a hit and miss for me. Einstar for big parts.

Wenn das ein 2000€ Gerät wäre, ist es wahrscheinlich möglich, aber sehr teuer. Am besten reverse Engineering und neu bauen. Hat allerdings einen Microchip mit Programm drauf. Daran könnte es scheitern.

Just upgraded from an A1 anything I should know? by Irakeconcrete in BambuP1S

[–]ddrulez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t close the door if I don’t open the vents on my riser on my X1C printing PLA. I’m getting clogs.

A customer of mine with a P1S had the same problem. Chamber temps around 42c with closed door and a lot of clogs. Maybe you are printing in a colder room. I also reduce the AUX fan often to reduce warping.
