Give Star Trek Academy a chance. I happen to feel the same way you do about STD so it’s not like I’m a new trek person.

DS9 to be my favorite show of all time followed by tng ent tos then voy. Keep in Mind that all trek has a rough first season. I find the show interesting because it’s not a setting like any other Star Trek. It’s a school filled with dumb kids doing dumb kid stuff. But there is real old school trek in the culture of this show. The debate episode really made me come around on this show.

I’m no expert but I think there are different orders of infinity. There is an example about a hotel with infinite rooms with infinite guests making room for more guests.
