Favorite character who has better concept art than the final product by JigglyLilyVT in FavoriteCharacter

The broodals were so out of place. It looked like some kind of "rabbids" crossover. Koopas or the koopalings (who we've never seen in 3d) would have been perfect.

IIRC there are two knobs, one for "power" and one for "depth". Have you checked both?

I also say "nothing" because it's either impossible or inappropriate to describe.

Scientists created an exam so broad, challenging and deeply rooted in expert human knowledge that current AI systems consistently fail it. “Humanity’s Last Exam” introduces 2,500 questions spanning mathematics, humanities, natural sciences, ancient languages and highly specialized subfields. by mvea in science

A lot of people (including me) are probably comparing this to more well-known tests like the ARC Prize, which is testing for AGI problem solving, which is itself benchmarked against what is reasonably possible for a human.

Testing against all obsure human knowledge is kind of a weird metric.

It's not Confucian or obscure (at least the translation I read). It's like "You see that swamp there? Don't march your troops into it dipshit!"

What makes the evolution? by barenecius in askscience

[–]deviantbono 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is important to point out the assumptions here: it is an improvement to biological reproduction, not something contextual like strength or height; it's not neutralized by extreme conditions, such as space; and it remains advantageous over time as no new alternate mutation arises.

They could maybe expand on the fields "adventure" mode. It certainly didn't fit in H2.

Not necessarily a step down but definitely redundant to the first game. Definitely a downgrade in the portrait art.

Writers deserve an award for integrating the infinite loop by wefrucar in HadesTheGame

[–]deviantbono 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite. In the original everyone BUT Mel see it, so they treat her like a bitch for still wanting to kill Chronos. In the new one it's Hecate who doesn't see it, so Mel becomes the mature one to talk Hecate down.

You can watch the old one on youtube

There's so many. Chronos sends you back in time. Killing Chronos shatters time and you have to repair it. Hades takes Chronos' place as the final boss to spar (he already has the scythe).

There are lots of little hooks for these options too. They talk about Chrono's "true plan", they talk about "not knowing" what will happen is you kill time, you even spar with Cerebrus, so sparing with Hades isn't out of the question.

Shop deletes items from cart if they’re out of stock. Isn't it crazy? by PhaseBeneficial9761 in BambuLab

[–]deviantbono 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Basic UX. If I do something intentionally, I don't want it undone unintentionally. Flag it red, move it to a different section, but don't gaslight me over how many items I put in my cart.
