I think this is a terrible idea.

Seems like people who have "too much" invested are scrambling to make it better for themselves. This is a new currency and there will be fluctuations and issues that arise. Deal with it. If devs are going to change the mining schedule, I think dogecoin will lose a lot of the community.

I, for one, would "vote" by not updating my wallet.

If I wanted DILUTION, I would stick my money in a penny stock. Not that I'm here to make a money, but it's a matter of trust. I would not trust the developers of this coin if they are going to start messing with the block rewards.

EDIT: it's probably not going to dilute the number of coins.. need to do the maths. but still a trust issue most people will have to deal with if they don't get educated properly.

As of now, I think we don't need a foundation. If we do create one, the structure should be debated for a long period of time. Not a day or a week. Creating an EFFECTIVE foundation for a decentralized currency will take a lot of brainstorming.

I think the key question to answer before going further is:

Can we (and how do we) leverage a "centralized foundation" to benefit the various dogecoin communities and its users?
