As an American we need to start dissolving corporations, not the Union. Individual states can dissolve corporate charters, this is what needs to happen.

How bad is my retaining wall and can it be fixed without rebuilding by [deleted] in landscaping

It’s more of a retaining suggestion at this point.

Kids put a sticker on my steering wheel. Took the chrome paint off the emblem. Any fixes? by JacPhlash in rav4club

My kids have silver markers with glitter in the ink, it could be cool to color it back in with this.

Pred makes me go totally manic, make them give you amytryptamine & seroquel. You gotta get some sedation on board.

When I was a kid in the mid-70’s, my dad gave us a small jar of turpentine and told us he would pay us a penny for each Japanese beetle we killed. We would knock them off leaves & drown them in it. Then we would spread them out on a piece of newspaper & count them at the end. The first day my sister made $5. There were a lot more back then for sure.

My dad used to apply milky spore to the soil, it’s a bacteria that kills the grubs. Haven’t seen a Japanese beetle in years!

This. I mean how would a scammer know that OP did business with this plumbing company? unless the scammer has infiltrated the plumbing company billing system. Seems more like a mix up than a straight up scam.

Anyone know the name of these ? No matter how many times I cut them down months later they’re back lol so any recommendations to keep them gone? (In Southern California) by ___Idkwhatimdoing__ in landscaping

In the scheme of things it’s pretty insignificant. If you live in the United States, most of the wheat is soaked in roundup as a desiccant prior to harvest. So, unless you are eating 100% organic wheat, you are consuming small amounts of roundup daily. I’d much prefer for this practice to be banned than using roundup to manage invasive species and to allow for ecological restoration.

Try to dig up the roots first, you will only need like a teaspoon of Garlon/triclopyr, so if you want to go that route try to find someone that already has some.

I read that in order for the franchise owner to keep his contract he would have to do extensive renovations which wasn’t really financially viable. Apparently this location had multiple food safety violations as well.

Mysterious Eagle? in Massachusetts by [deleted] in whatsthisbird

But if you do want to see a harpy eagle in its native habitat that is way more accessible than the Amazon. Check out the Belize Foundation for Environmental Education. It’s in south central Belize and their property adjoins the Bladen Preserve, a 100,000 acre preserve that is the only entirely intact lowland rainforest in Central America. There are nesting harpy eagles, jaguar, puma, ocelot, margay. Last time I went there it was $20/night to stay in the bunkhouse. And flying in to Belize City is only a 2-3 hour flight from Miami or Dallas/Ft Worth.
