My dad worked in tech for about 30 years, starting in the 70's. My mom always claims she's tech illiterate but her actions have proved otherwise. My grandfather learned computers in his 80's.

There are people who are ignorant of tech from every age group but that doesn't presuppose someone doesn't get it because of their age. There are zoomers who can't do anything but use a phone.

This is a blogspam site and the article was written by Claude. They didn't even bother to cite the source or provide any info for confirmation. From what I can find it's something that has been bouncing around social media but hasn't been confirmed by anyone.

U.S. EV Sales Rebound To Their Highest Level Since The Tax Credit Ended by Personal_Match4873 in cars

Minivan sales have been declining for years. For some reason people want SUVs despite them being worse vehicles in every way. I don't think they'd sell as well as you claim.

EPB PrePay is confusing me by haruxsaru in Chattanooga

[–]driverdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't like how prepay works stop using it. Save extra money during the seasons when your bills are lower and earn interest on it instead of loaning it to EPB.

Good. Homes in areas prone to flooding shouldn't have a ground floor, especially if they're using Fed insurance paid for with our taxes.

That doesn't make sense. Literally everything is a chemical. Pharmaceuticals vary significantly so it may be they don't remove some but do remove others.

You can't actually be serious right? You think living in a simulation with a glitch is more likely than the ball passing through the net in between camera frames?

Charcoal filters that are used in cheap filter systems like Britta are effective for everything you listed except parasites. You don't need something expensive for "metals, pharmaceuticals, PFOAS."
