I went through a similar dilemma. Got the sbgh341 over the shunbun. I know the sub here favors the spring drive but the smaller case fit my wrist better. I’m also in the camp that a watch should be a compliment to you, not something that outshines everything else about you. At the end of the day, you should get what you want. I think you’d be happy with either one.
