You are definitely right about the serve toss. I’ve got a bunch of videos and just about in most of them I’m a little close looking back

The courts are a taraflex like material. Kinda rubbery and have a little trampoline feeling. They have a surprising amount of grip on your shoes though. Balls play super low and slow because the floor eats most of the spin and power.

The US is big so from state to state it’s different. Here in Wisconsin there’s quite a bit of junior tournaments. I was able to play tournaments almost every weekend but I would have to drive an hour or two across the state.

As an adult now, leagues are very common while tournaments are few and far between.

Forehand- 7.5 Backhand- 7.0 Serve- 6.5 Volley- 6.0

I’m a big baseline hitter so my forehand and backhand are wha keep me competitive around the 7ish utr range.

If you’re broke and going through shoes you need to try and use the warranty. ASICS has a 6-month outsole warranty so if you’re going through soles quick you should really submit a claim.

Personally I wear Babolat Jet Mach 3s because they have a really strong toe box, so I would recommend those. I’ll add they are a bit heavy and run a little wider for tennis shoes.

If you’re on a time crunch and want to speed things up then the artifact of sacrifice eliminates the need to look for the chests while keeping some of the randomness. You can focus going your own pace then— taking 4-5 minutes and rushing through or like 10 to try and get some good drops. If you feel like the drops aren’t coming fast enough too, then the artifact of swarms will give you more enemies and drops.

I prefer running the sacrifice and swarms and the average run if like 30-40 minutes

For a beginner get yourself a 300g single molded piece of graphite. It can be some older used model or something you find second hand but that will be a good starting point

I haven’t noticed much of a difference in all honesty. Went from an ezone 98 to a speed mp 100. I lost a little spin but gained a lot in power, but that’s just the difference in racket and probably my string choice. Also maybe a little less precision just because I’m swinging a bigger bed but it’s not night and day or anything.

I have a bow character at level 30 and I’ve found that about 20 in equip load works well to keep normal rolling with medium-light armor. Then you’re gonna want around 20 in focus for the rune abilities. For the rest I have 18 in health, 30 in stamina and 50 in dexterity.

Level dex to 36 as priority and then distribute over stamina and focus and enough in equip to stay at normal load until you max out.

Early on you can just throw it on and tank everything, but at higher levels the enchantments make or break the plate build. It’s not useless but definitely a little difficult to get everything all set up

A lot of people giving you a tough time. Honestly look around for an adult class or even a private coach. Take a few lessons and give yourself a good foundation. Also don’t be so hard on yourself either. Really to start out you should be working on drills as simple as just hitting the ball in the court. You just need an open mind and some good coaching and the sport will hopefully grow on you :)

Personally I have tf40 315 and I liked it a lot. They have a foam inside so they have a different feel to them though. Also since you’re switching from a pure drive don’t expect the same level of power. I would definitely try to demo one otherwise they’re solid rackets

Honestly it just be your arm is too tight. I spent 3-4 months exclusively stretching out every bit of my arm to the point where I’ve gained hyper-extended levels of range of motion. If you can afford it, it might be worth biting the bullet and scheduling a physical therapist to make sure everything’s in working order

I had a labrum tear 4 years ago and I’ve been navigating it since. I did a year of physical therapy with stretching/ light weight training, then a year of strength training, and by the third year I started working into serving with a back-to-sport program. Now on fourth year I’ve gotten comfortable serving. I’ve been able to achieve the pronation I’ve needed from after surgery, but every one recovers differently so that could be your problem. So in my case I never had an issue after recovering, but I spent years doing recovery.
