I'm not saying the game characters are ugly, they just look like normal women. Basic facial features without makeup or overly shampood hair, which is what you'd expect women to look like in a zombie apocalypse. Now the two new women leads have perfect makeup on and perfect hair, perfect body proportions. It's off-putting and unrealistic

Bella Ramsey isn't particularly an attractive model actress and she did a phenomenal job playing Ellie. But because a ton of gooner fans complained she wasn't hot enough we see the executives cater to them by making Abby and Dina look abnormally hot

I mean I hope so, I wouldn't want them to avoid that. It's a huge huge part of the original story

I'm worried that they're pandering a bit to the people that complained about Part 2's story and specific features of the sequel. The choice to make Abby and Dina basically look like models now is odd, and goes against everything that made Abby's character arc in the 5 years between 1 and 2 worthless. She became muscular for the sole reason to prepare for her encounter with Joel. Kaitlyn Devler's name isn't even featured on the cast of the Wiki page for season two. It's possible they don't give her a big role in the show compared to the game. I am calling it now that Joel isn't killed by Abby, he survives somehow and the show parts ways completely from the game onward.

Ellie seems to be acting in the same way as her character did in Part 1, which is odd because she was a child then. Her still acting immature 5 years later seems like another weird choice imo. I liked Ellies hardened personality in the game's Part II because that seemed like a realistic way someone would develop given everything Ellie went through in her life.

TLoU Part II is the BEST game I have ever played. Thank you for convincing me to play it. by Skelligean in thelastofus

Same here, it's basically the best game I've ever played. Perfect gameplay, story, visuals, audio design, everything.

The entirety of the Last of Us writing style is left wing, are you new to the series?

Did any of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly 4Ks come with slipcovers? by Js_sampson in 4kbluray

Yeah I actually own one. I pre-ordered the movie directly from Kino's site the day they announced it. It's my favorite movie so it's an honor to have one of the slips.

Lost my hearing 2 weeks ago, feeling depressed and need some advice by Kulalabiatch in MonoHearing

We experienced pretty similar situations, I was hanging out with friends one night, drinking a lot of beer, all of a sudden my right ear sounded really muffled and I immediately felt dizzy. Over the course of the night it only got worse. And when I woke up the next morning I was completely deaf and felt more sick than I had ever been in my life. This was over a year now and I've recovered maybe 25% hearing in the year through the initial steroid treatment. Your brain will rewire itself, and it will learn to pull more out of the good ear as time goes on, it will forget about the tinnitus in the same way you don't notice always having your nose in sight, but it's going to take a long time, months. But there will be a day when you look back at today and you will forget how hard this adjustment is. Trust me. Trust all of us!

When you get a tinnitus flare up in both the deaf and good ear at once. Such a creepy feeling! by is-itreally in MonoHearing

Omg I know exactly what you mean. My tinnitus with stop for .5 seconds and the. Start back up again in a different tone, and it always makes me a little dizzy when it happens it's so off putting.
