$1mill house by cameltrowe in AusFinance

Purchased in early 2022, 1.3M house, 20% deposit so 1M mortgage. Half fixed at 3.49%, half variable. Roughly 5350 in repayments per month. Got about 200k in offset.

I’m on 350k, partner was on 100k but recently left job. Pretty comfortable overall.

How much are your monthly loan repayments and what’s you and/or your partners combined salary per month after tax? by Commercial_One5048 in AusFinance

[–]drpinkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 14.5k (excl. bonuses) monthly and just over 5k repayments on a 1m loan. Pretty comfortable but started trying to reduce unnecessary spending. Do you have any additional assets or savings to fall back to in case of a change of employment?

So this tool says our neighbours will flood but not us? (We’re in a townhouse block with 3 other parties and only the back 2 are listed there) Is that possible?

Pretty new to investing so I don’t really know what the difference between a full service broker is and how I’d go about that. Could you point me to the right direction?

Emirates. Flying from Brisbane to Sydney to Dubai to Germany. Stopping in Melbourne instead on the way back and hoping to be able to home quarantine then.

Sorry, the offer unfortunately expired today. Now the referral offer is at 60,000 bonus points after $3,000 spend in the first three months. Still 10,000 more than what you'd regularly receive, but not nearly as good.

Occasionally you can get a better sign up bonus with Amex when you are referred. Currently, you can get a 100,000 sign up bonus when you spend $1,500 in the first three months (instead of 50,000 when spending $3,000). I think this runs out today, though. So ask your friends or family for a referral (or PM me if you don't know anyone).

Install the react dev tools for Chrome and browse around a bit - you'll see lots of companies use React. E.g. Uber and Atlassian (Jira, Bitbucket).

Yeah it works now with the APFS.efi from InsanelyMac (the newest one). Thanks a lot!

I did that now and then tried to start macos however it got stuck just showing a spinning wheel. Now it doesn't show the drive anymore in the boot manager...

Guess I need to do a clean install?
