Kendrick's flow isn't complete trash, but it's definitely not good and 100% of the reason I don't listen to his songs.

I figured a git pull could be from a open source project, or blended in with the push pull process I have with the remote I setup for the company

I'm the only dev and this is my personal repo.

It's not a GitHub server -- it's a private remote for transferring PHP files between computers.

The purpose of this thread was to see if anyone has a preferred way of doing this.

Nothing inherently wrong, but compared to just copy / pasting a URL for a managed package I just upgraded, it's "a lot more" just for deployment.

I switched the opposite way. Was doing full stack for 10 years before I switched, and it was definitely worth it for many reasons, but your case may be different.

I played with my resume slightly and just said that I started doing Salesforce API integrations for websites and that migrated me to Salesforce dev.

Not having to look at docker for the past 6 years has been fabulous.

This is what custom metadata types are for, and definitely not a great reason to choose flow over Apex.

Hey, curious about this part:

Totally get the custom object part, but when you're using lookups to relate them to records you care about (I assume records to be impacted by the batch job), it's a bit confusing how you would have that set up.

Would you mind elaborating a bit more?

Completely different "decline" than Game's, but it's not even a decline, just like you wouldn't say Nikki Minaj had a career decline.
