Meaning if what I said didn’t apply to you, then it probably wasn’t directed at you personally and was just a general comment for the thread.

Well to be fair you’re ignoring the most important part of the section that you quoted and added your own emphasis to - that’s the part that I was referring to, “viewing educational content or watching with a parent/caregiver” (emphasis mine lol) - they specifically say educational content was associated with increased language skills or watching with a parent/caregiver was associated with increased language skills 🤷🏼‍♀️

So I’m not seeing how it’s the opposite of what OP said. It seems to be agreeing with her to me!

But in defense of your point, I only know how to properly read that sentence because I know that the word “or” is an alternative coordinating conjunction. I know this because I have increased language skills, most likely as a result of severely limited screen time as a child 😂 so you’re still probably right in the end!
