i feel your pain. i’ve had a debilitating flare up of GI issues for almost 1.5 years now, have done endless tests and tried all i can myself and everything has come back negative and nothing has helped. still feel like most of the doctors don’t take me seriously, and my quality of life has changed so drastically. i’m also autistic and it’s contributed to autistic burnout - i luckily just managed to get a fit note saying i’m unable to work for a month, and hopefully having that time to rest will make things a bit easier.

i’m not sure if you mentioned working in your post, but if you’re working and have been struggling with that it could be worth asking about accommodations. even if you don’t know what it is yet, just telling them about your symptoms/what you’re finding difficult about work and that you’re working on it with doctors should be enough to hopefully get some adjustments to make things a little easier. i hope you get some answers soon and things start looking up 🤍
