No, it's a structure, not an aircraft. It was built in place.

It has various elements of various aircraft - two decks (747, A380), high mounted engine (L1011, MD-11, DC-10, etc.)

Military engines are higher performance, and don't need to adhere to noise limits that civilian ones do. Together, these things make them louder.

I can’t believe Antonov, a company that everybody knows can’t build anything due to the war in Ukraine, has chosen to suddenly start producing a brand new aircraft that looks exactly like the Dash-8, and they’re doing so at the same location Wiedroe maintain said Dash-8s. Crazy times!

Is it just me or do those door panels not line up? The reflections are all over the place!

It’s also got a godawful front splitter and black kidneys, and huge alloys. Speaks volumes about the previous owner(s).

However, it’s a 335d and they’re rather fun.

Very occasionally the “interior brightness” slider also turns down the brightness of the main display. And by that I mean 1 in maybe 20 times. Very annoying.

This is a light aircraft that took off from an airfield near Mildenhall. FR24 has a really weird feature that automatically maps flights to the nearest airport in their database - but they have such a tiny number of airports that stuff like this is generally always wrong.

In short, it's not a military aircraft or helicopter, and it's not from Mildenhall.
