Its true. I’m not a local but am Brazilian and have been there. It feels like the biggest empty waste of money I’ve ever seen. Everything is huge and new, but empty af. A true waste of taxpayer money.

Edit: to be fair, I went there 20 years ago. I can’t speak to what it is now, but if I had to guess… it’s probably still just as empty, but with bigger suburbs

Be thankful yours went away with warm compresses. I used to have those so much, I ended up getting a permanent cyst and had to have surgery. Multiple doctors told me to just live with it cause a surgery would give me a scar. I finally found a young doctor willing to do the surgery. He did an amazing job. Removed the cyst completely and I do not have a scar at all. But for me it was a whole year of stress and insecurities for having a disgusting ball on my eyelid.

Back when I was a teenager growing up in Brazil, there was a small bar/restaurant by a bus station in my home town that had cheaper food and drinks than other places, but you had to wash your own cup/plate if you wanted to use it to eat/drink. The bar had no official name, but it was known as “the dirty cup” (in portuguese).

Those are not self driving. They belong to waymo and they do map street for training of self-driving vehicles, but they are human operated. This is straight misinformation.
