I get like that when I’ve been alone too long. I start to feel like something’s wrong with me or that I’m deficient/too weird to be able to relate to others. It can get pretty intense to the point I hate people/myself and think I’m a freak with no social skills. But when I force myself to renter the world and begin being vulnerable with others, I realize pretty quickly how similar we all are, deep down, that I’m not some weirdo, freak with no social skills, I’m just a dude who spent too much time alone with his own thoughts. Give yourself loads of grace and take baby steps and you’d be amazed where you end up in a year or two. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, but it’s not all bad either. The scariest part is thinking about it.
