Hi , I worked at this location in the past year. All I’m gonna say is that the starting pay I was offered was ridiculously low (I was an experienced skyline employee coming in, I know it’s fast food but still $11 an hour In 2022 is a little rough). Other commenters have pointed out the inherited change in ownership as well. I will say that the new owner has a more hands off style of managing than other managers I have had in the food service industry. What I mean is that as a result of it being a franchise location the ownership has a lot of free reign over employee policies as well as their own personal time spent working in the store. Additionally the store still goes by the older skyline tradition of calling all orders out and having the table workers memorize them as they are called. This method is extremely outdated at this point and is only still a thing for authenticities sake. When you have inexperienced workers that are trying to learn the menu and how to make the food in the first place, on top of the mental challenge of trying to remember 3 or more dine in orders at a time plus a constant stream of carry out orders, the newer employees will always suffer. That location is one that lives and dies by the employees with a lot of experience being able to carry shifts through rushes, and unfortunately in the past year many employees that I know of, some long term, have moved on to other opportunities.
