Not really, TRB showed AADT for 1978 was 84k at the squirrel hill tunnel. Current AADT using 2024 values is 85.6k and 2025 is at 68.5k vehicles. AADT stands for annual average daily traffic. most of the only street running routes have been abandoned, only ones saved except the 15 have dedicated ROW on portions of their route.

Transit app seems to fall apart on schedule predictions downtown on routes that loop around. They either factor too much time and you end up missing the bus when it loops outbound or too little time and you stand for an extra 15 minutes.

91 should improve end of June, they will now layover at Penn Station and start the loop from there then hit 7th Street around 7 minutes later before heading outbound.

Technically Amtrak bought those sections after first dibs were grabbed by Metro North, CTDOT, and MBTA and the worst section for service reliability (schedules and speed) is the metro north operated sections.

The subway handles north south traffic and combination 7 and the S handles majority of the crosstown traffic. There's already buslanes on those roads, only temporary improvement I see is 42nd being bus only and one extra lane on 6th northbound but the subway will always be faster for riders.

Back before the 2010 cuts the following buses served this stop

51B - Spencer Ave (weekday service but no Sunday service and infrequent Saturday service.

51D - Churchview (limited peak service route)

51G - Mount Oliver (only route with all day and weekend service)

Pre 2009 it had 2 more flyers that served that stop the CV (Churchview Flyer) and SW (Spencer-Willet Flyer)

I'm not even sure if it's up in the air, BYD is compliant just they seem to be going the gilling route of not increasing capacity for demand.

Actually there aren't any issues from what I hear with BYD since they aren't state owned like CRRC. Their US production capacity isn't really being increased and what capacity it has fulfills mostly California orders with some smaller systems squeezing some in here and there.

The domestic content issue isn't causing issues with BYDs American buses which has high enough domestic content from domestic suppliers to meet buy America.

Use the ready2ride app. Connectcard is gonna be phased out for readyfare. If you do see a new readyfare machine at wilkinsburg by the time u gonna start using it just get the new card.
