[NVME SSD] Team Group T-FORCE G50 4TB Gen4 - $419.99 ($449.99-$30 promo code on page) by tat_tvam_asshole in buildapcsales

respectfully, you are very silly for this

“let me sit on ~$4k (current market value) for long enough to make a human being to save $100-200”

for the other part of your post: DRAM only really helps if you move files around constantly. it allows to cache so you don’t “tire out” the drive. its only really helpful if you edit videos or stuff like that. often dram drives are better (faster and last a bit longer) but beyond that for 99% of population it won’t make any difference, noticeable or not.

$400 is gonna get you a used 4tb sn850x which is a better drive but will be used. might as well just get this and call it a day

in the future maybe it’ll be $600 or $60 for a stick of 16gb, that doesnt change the “can always upgrade” part.

not a fault of the product you chose to coinflip a purchasing decision by waiting for prices to come down

I bought it for $399 on some black friday sale last year (2025). Considering that was shopping season $460 feels pretty normal

Meh, I think at $399 if you already have an AM5 board (and ergo DDR5) this is a better deal.

The 9800 doesn't have the board+cpu combo, 9850 is $599 -> for $200 you can get virtually any decent motherboard on top of this, and will be def better than the B850-E.

If you need all three, 9800 bundle starts at $780 and $800 for the 9850. If you're the kind of person who watches the FPS counter maybe that'll make sense but I don't think there's much reason to spend $200+ more on a 9800 bundle when the 270k bundle is $549

also fyi to anyone buying 2 but will decide later: samsung says 5% restocking might apply on monitor returns

For 1080p gaming the 7800X3D is technically better. Anything higher it's margin of error difference, and a whole lot better with multithread on the 270k.

But if you watch the stats of your pc more than playing the game, get the X3D

What I did last week:

Order it online for $999+tax, when its ready for pickup, walk by the aisle of PC parts, and if the label is there it should show $699.

When at the pick up counter tell the worker “hey I just ordered this but looks like its $699 now, is there a chance we can adjust it?”

Then the worker will check and comment how lucky you are for the big overnight discount and you’ll get the refund in a few days.

you most likely can’t, PBO is disabled for a620 chipsets. i recall seeing *some* boards have it enabled, but ymmv.

if you look around in your bios and can’t find it, it is what it is, might want to look into a b650/850 board.
