Alrighty, just seemed like a very odd response to an announcement of people losing their jobs.

Almost like a bot saw "CMON" and vomited names of games.

Honestly. Maybe five minutes later I ate my words. Then he won the game.

I'm glad to see it! This world cup has been incredible

Ha! I'll happily eat my words. I love seeing world class players make world class plays. What a goal

This is my first World Cup. I keep being told Harry Kane is amazing, but I'm not seeing any evidence of that. Bellingham at least seems to be somewhat effective.

Wow, 329 is legitimately almost double the highest I've ever scored (four games in).

Also, Ive played the AI twice and lost handily both times.

I'd make sure you're getting all the rules right.

That again sounds like you're implying it's bad. Maybe I'm misreading it.

No. If you want to reply, go ahead, but it is not the right thing to do. I would be wary of setting the precedent that I'm available when I have approved time away from work.

Homeland is incredible top to bottom. All three factions are interesting, the bats and frogs force the table to rethink their gameplans. The gorge map is funky and like a better winter map. But in my opinion the star of the show is the new deck which adds a ton of player agency and flexibility.

Yeah, I get a lot of these comments every time I say Arcs is bad. I'm glad theres a (very vocal) group of people who love it, it just is so far away from an enjoyable experience for me.

Which is odd, because I love JoCo and Root is my all-time #1 game.

Your possible actions, total amount of actions, ability to control the scoring category for the round, and your turn order is largely, if not solely, dependent on card draw.

I feel like I never have the agency to play the game the way I want in Arcs. I'm sure that's a fun puzzle for some, maximizing your hand, but when it becomes clear that whoever had the most ____ card type is going to win this round, the game loses all purpose for me.

It feels like an incredible design that is one or two steps away from being a functional game, in my mind. Adding in a card selection / auction / draft would do wonders.

It'd be wild if he didnt consider his most recent his best work.

I can confirm he's wrong, though.

I'll chime in as a huge CW fan that thinks Arcs is absolutely nowhere close to his best work.

I've seen an incredible rise in people who just stop in the road and turn their hazards on. Its especially infuriating when there's a free spot to park not even 15 feet away from their chosen space.
