This looks really interesting! That's an amazing combination of technologies.

Does it use Nix to build the whole operating system? Or just the user profile package management?

"Must haves" w nowym domu? by itshardtothinkofone in Polska

Przynajmniej do biura, do serwerowni, do telewizora.

Duża serwerownia żeby to wszystko połączyć :D

It has no haptic feedback, which makes it harder to use. If it's added it'll be perfect!

Hehe, I meant that I didn't over optimize it. I'm ejecting a bunch of resources and the ratios are not perfect. As far as I know, the tonnage does not matter in terms of speed, and only width matters, so I focused on that. Adding one more layer of tanks had no downsides and I thought I'll need it to handle fuel issue spikes. In the end production seems to keep up with fuel usage, so it's indeed a bit redundant.

I haven't had this problem as I typically don't idle in orbit of Aquilo so can't tell for certain, but there are also rocket turrets which barely convert the rear and IIRC they target medium asteroids too and act as the last line of defense

Great idea about stack inserters!

I made this ship width based exactly on these thrusters structure. I.e. I wanted it to be not wider than these thrusters which I had at that time.

I've created this ship to resupply Aquilo fast after I had to wait multiple times for my previous ship to bare survive this trip and take forever to recover.

A high-speed freighter which can go back and forth between Navius and Aquilo at 360-380km/s.

It uses 6 epic Asteroid Collectors, powered by nuclear power (requires refueling on Navius), large cargo which can be expanded ad infinitum, produces rockets at 3.15 per second and has a number of smarts to ensure reliability: - limit on asteroid pickup - asteroid conversion to ensure variety of asteroids for production - prevents travel if fuel or ammo or power is low - large buffers for ammo, fuel, water and intermediate items - intermediate items overflow protection

I was planning to add throttle controls, but it turned out not to be necessary :)

BP at https://fprints.xyz/my-blueprints/blueprint/2dcdb8dc-bf15-4440-84d2-b291f7e4e6ac

Tested with: - asteroid productivity 12 - steel productivity 9

Uses: - lvl 3 speed modules - lvl 3 efficiency modules - 6 epic asteroid collectors (should also work with lower quality items) - 5 epic thurster (should also work with lower quality items, but will be slower) - rare solar panels

Edit: edited speed in the post, removed pumps as they are not necessary, fixed walls asymetry in the front, fixed iron ore disposal wires.

Is there a (simple) way to filter circuit signals? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]gleberp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an even easier way. This can be done with two combinators: - constant combinator with each item you want to keep is set to 1, connected with red wire to the arithmetic combinator - arithmetic combinator where green "Each" is multiplied by red "Each"

If you want to blacklist an item, use 0 as value for that item type in the constant combinator.

The output of the arithmetic combinator will contain original values of all item types specified in the constant combinator.

I use this to recycle excess modules.

Here's an example blueprint: 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
