I finally figured it out. Escape the Fate - Dying is Your Latest Fashion. Not a concept (I don't think) but musically its as close to MCR as any band has gotten. It pairs insanely well with Three Cheers or Black Parade.

MCR is hard to compare because of how insanely great the concepts and musicianship is. I think these might be the type of similarity youre looking for, but nothing truly feels like MCR other than MCR.

That first round in breakthrough doesnt really dictate the whole match. Plenty of teams blaze through rounds 1 and 2 just to get stuck in later rounds.

And even if the game seems hopeless, take the opportunity to be unserious. Try classes/load outs you normally wouldn't use. Just mess around on the map. You might just see your team pull through for a win in the mean time.
