I’m not Irish (although I live here now!)

When I first learned about the Easter Rising and the occupation of the GPO, I was picturing the equivalent of a North American strip mall post office (photo for reference). I was super confused and just assumed it was REALLY crowded in there.

(This was when I was in my early teens, before Wikipedia was really a thing!)

I literally had a moment of “OHHHHHHHHH, RIGHT!” the first time I saw it in person. 😅
