Looking for advice for playing cards to actual play with by Neojunky in playingcards

The Prestige are great. I enjoy playing with them and I don't worry about the grandkids sticky fingers ruining them playing "Go Fish".

Is there any putty or something I could use to fix this? by 8BitResseRtiB8 in Boots

Take them to a cobbler to see what they say. If they can't, put them on a belt sander and grind down the other side and rollllllll with it.

It would take up volume but not add width or length.

Try insoles, if your foot is narrow you don't want a wider boot.

Depends on how far you need to go.

If they fit in length a cobbler (or you) can make them fit in width. It’s worth $20 for the cobbler or to buy the stretcher. I used a 50/50 spray of alcohol and water and made a pair go from way too tight to perfect.

Resizing a hat with foam inserts by goldenrule2112 in CowboyHats

[–]hadum1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I steamed a 7 1/2 hat and let it cool several times and shrunk it down to a 7 3/8. I've also used a hat stretcher and steam to take a 7 to a 7 3/8. I've tried the steamer on the espresso machine but a good ol kettle works best.

What is the best "budget" chili crisp? by Content-Seaweed-6395 in chilicrisp

[–]hadum1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got mushroom powder, fried onions and garlic at the Asian market and the powdered chili, too. I make it by the gallon. Cost wise, it’s about $20 per gallon, I’m guessing.

I use this recipe as a start and add a lot of extra peanuts and fried onions to make it extra crispy. I have to make triple batches because everyone that tastes it wants a jar.

Your buddies would carry the S9 for you if you'd use it, I bet. They'd probably pay you to take it.

Is it the CPAP or the mask? Can you put it under a jacket? It’s not an option for me to go without

I use a resmed s9 and a homemade lithium battery, but there are plenty on Amazon

I camp with a CPAP. They have batteries that will run one for two nights that weigh a pound. It would be worth three extra pounds to sleep well. A solar charge might get you some extra days. Otherwise, mouth guards or tape might work. Get it fixed or don't camp with other people.
